Student SJ Writing booklet: INTRODUCTION
The PURPOSE of this document, which will be located in the beginning of the booklet, is to provide an overview of the book and its purpose for the reader. It will define what we see as social justice writing, it will list the criteria we set for submissions (including art) and why we set these criteria, and it will explain the meaning behind the title of the booklet. It will be written in the first-person point of view, as a letter to the reader from the students who comprise the editorial board (in other words, this class). This is what we have so far:

Dear Reader,
We define Social Justice writting as its focused on current issues. One of the many issues is closing down public schools for their lack of attendance and their academic skills. Also the immigration struggles going on with people all over the world. People want change and we all WANT IT NOW!

¡Our beliefs… seguramente!
The reason why we choose this title was to show how people fight for their beliefs in changing their community. Thousands of people in a community believe they should be treated equally. Nuestros valores tienen el poder de cambiar la comunidad. La Lucha de la gente sige y nunca terminara. Our Beliefs... Seguramente!
